Upon activating the buttons on the gauge, the gauge shuts off after 10 minutes to save the battery, and users can reset the timeout by pressing the Units button. However, this gauge is not designed for positive pressure tests but can vacuum test. Moreover, the VG200 is designed not to have any leakage. According to some users, the VG200 seems like a good unit, but others claim that it is not a high precision tool considering the price. Some reviews state that the device leaks out of the box, while others believe that it is one of the "standards" for evacuation of HVAC and other systems. They also believe that it uses quite a bit of power from the 9V battery.
