The NComputing RX440RDP Thin Client is an upgrade from the RX420 RDP model as it provides 4GB of RAM, which is recommended for use cases that rely heavily on the local Chromium browser with multiple open tabs. Dual monitor RDP is possible without requiring additional licenses. The RX440(RDP) comes with 1 year of AMP licensing from NComputing, providing access to firmware updates and PMC. However, after the first year, an AMP license ($15 per year) is required for firmware updates. There have been issues reported with connecting an xcarve cnc and an arduino to the device through USB. The only support available is email support, which has been a problem according to some customers.
