The Pacific Image PowerSlide X Plus 35mm Slide Scanner is highly recommended by a user who has been using it for scanning a large number of slides. They have found the scans to be great when using VueScan software and have settled on a resolution of 2,500 dpi, finding it to be just right for playing on a large screen TV. They also praise the excellent customer service they have received over the 10 years of using these scanners in their lab. However, there was an issue with the slots 30-40 being very tight to put slides into, causing the scanner to jam. Pacific Image sent a new tray, but the user had not yet tried it out.
