The E-flite UMX Ultrix is a small and fun aircraft to fly. It is not a trainer aircraft, so it may not be suitable for beginners looking to learn conventional fixed-wing flying. The plane is very small and can be hard to see in the air. It comes with servos, receiver, and batteries, and all it needs is a Spektrum Transmitter to bind to the receiver. The Ultrix has plenty of power and can handle tricky situations. Some users have changed out the props for less expensive alternatives. The battery size recommended is 500 milliamp, but higher output batteries with the correct plug should work fine. Setting up the Ultrix is easy, with a preloaded model in the menu and a quick binding process. It is ready to fly in less than 10 minutes. The plane also comes with winglets that can be easily attached for easy carrying. The smaller size of the red version allows for flying in smaller spaces, while the larger blue version has slightly wider turns. Both versions provide a phenomenal flying experience.
