Format: VHS Tape Featured Categories Editorial Review
Pilates Beginning Mat Workout VHS is an excellent option for those new to Pilates. It features Ana Caban, who delivers clear and effective instructions, greatly assisting beginners in understanding the core principles of Pilates, including breathing techniques. The workout structure allows for gradual advancement through modified versions, thanks to Tara, Ana's assistant, who demonstrates easier variations. Reviewers appreciate Ana's comprehensive guidance, noting improvements in strength and posture. However, some find the transitions between exercises slightly slow, which can detract from the experience if repeated frequently. Overall, this VHS serves as a fantastic introduction to Pilates that helps build foundational skills.
