The dish has little rubber feet on the bottom that keep it from sliding on the counter top when in use. It also ensures that the soap stays dry, preventing the mess of water on the soap. However, while the soap dish is a beautiful addition to any bathroom, it doesn't seem to hold up to its "lacquer" claim. After just a few weeks of use, the paint bubbled up and broke away. This issue is unacceptable Considering the cost of the product. Overall, the Jonathan Adler Lacquer Bath Soap Dish is a great addition to any bathroom, but the quality of the lacquer needs improvement.
