The inside of the rounded end of the cage features an inner cone that has metal cracks, which could cause cuts or tearing if the user swells inside the cone while the corona of their penis moves across it with any kind of pressure. The device is too small for some users as both the cage and base ring can be difficult to close, and the catheter is also reported to be too short. The spikes, however, are a good feature.
