Attack on Titan: Season 2 is a highly anticipated release for fans of the series. The long wait for the second season to be released to American audiences only adds to the anticipation. The season itself makes up for the wait with a good number of episodes. However, the quality and features of this Blu-ray release leave much to be desired. The title screens and overall presentation of the anime production are subpar. It is disappointing that a successful anime franchise like Attack on Titan would have low standards in its Western distribution. Additionally, there are virtually no added features in this release, such as textless openings. It is unclear if the release includes both the English dub and the original Japanese subtitled version. Taking away the option of original audio can be a significant drawback for anime fans. Overall, while the content of Season 2 may be satisfying for fans, the quality and features of this Blu-ray release could have been better.
