The headset comes with an English manual only and uses Bluetooth to transfer the EEG data to another device. Although there are free applications and tutorial applications available for download via NeuroSky Store. Mixed customer reviews suggest that while some users find the device to be working great, others find it frustrating and unable to connect to their device via Bluetooth. Some customers have returned the product as they could not connect it to their Macbook or iPhone or Galaxy. Others had issues syncing their data or connecting it to their Kindles. However, those who could connect it to their devices found it worked perfectly for them, and there's even a user developing an app called "EEG Meditation" for iOS and Android engaged with the NeuroSky Research Tool.
