The knee guards are suitable for hot and humid environments, as they do not feel excessively hot, even in the New Jersey heat. One drawback mentioned by reviewers is that the knee guards only provide protection for the knee area and do not cover the shins. Some customers have reported that their shins still get bruised while wearing these knee guards.
