When used correctly, it can dry hard but still remain flexible, making it an ideal choice for car restoration and repair work. It works best at temperatures above 50 Fahrenheit, and although it takes a longer time to cure than expected, it is effective in numerous uses. Some customers struggle with its application as it dries and hardens at the opening of the tube or screw-on cap, making it tough to remove when it dries on the threads. However, using a drill to bore the hardened substance off the threads allows it to flow again. Its thin consistency makes it easy to work with and apply, but it requires shaping after it patches holes. It will adhere to rust, but it's essential to sand the surface, clean it thoroughly to remove anything loose, and remove any wax, grease, or oil. It is not UV stable but can be painted over after scuffing the surface.
