The Simple Modern Ascent Chug Lid is double-walled insulated and leak-proof which can be used with the standard mouth Hydro Flask and all Ascent sizes. However, it may not fit other bottles. Some customers have faced problems with the lid breaking easily in case of a slight fall or mishandling. This plastic lid has a metal ring embedded in it which has broken for a few users, making it useless. Although the design is convenient, it is not sturdy enough to withstand regular usage, especially with kids. A few users faced issues with the straw and vacuum seal. The price seems steep for a plastic lid that needs frequent replacement. Many customers have expressed their disappointment with the lid breaking frequently, and some are looking for alternative brands.
