atbildi: This product (at least the 1" version) has the ridge inside. It would have to be removed with a rotary tool to make a repair. -

What are the inside dimensions?
atbildi: I do not remember, but IT HAS A RIDGE INSIDE. It is just the same you can buy at a hardware store. It is not what it is advertised. Get one standard one and remove the ridge yourself. I will not buy it again, it did not work. -

atbildi: When I purchased these, I just purchased the number that I wanted. -

atbildi: This a slip coupling, meaning it has no stops. It will fit over schedule 40, 1 1/4" pvc pipe. You do not need a larger size.
NIBCO C429005 Editorial Review
The NIBCO C429-005 12 coupling is a standard PVC coupling that has some label issues. Some customers have received couplings that are a different size than expected, while others have found them to be expensive for a single piece. However, the product itself is sturdy and fits well. A rotary tool may be required to remove the stop ridge inside for certain repair jobs.
