Why are the spacers used? I bolted mine directly to the frame
atbildi: The spacers are there because the Honda frame has a bracket that prevents the plates from fully sitting flat on the frame. The spacers are there to allow the mounting flanges to clear that bracket and then be torqued up tight against the frame. You might wanna reconsider your mounting. -
