    atbildi: This part is specifically for the 48VDC model. The switch is always hermetically sealed and requires replacement when the contacts brown out. You can drill out the rivets and replace them with U nuts and stainless cap screws for a finished look.

The switch is rated for 36 volts, making it suitable for carts with 6 ea 6 volt batteries. It is not specified if it will work with a 97 EZGO TXT with the normal forward reverse switch under your legs. It is a 3-pin switch and does not come with installation instructions. Overall, customers found it easy to install and a perfect replacement for their old, faded switches. It was also described as better than the original switch.
