Sena Helmet Communication 10S-01D Editorial Review
The Sena 10S is a Bluetooth communication device that comes in a dual pack. It allows for communication between riders and also connection to phone and GPS. However, it does not allow for audio multitasking and music stops during intercom communication. There is an earbud port for the headset base and the device can be used for voice communication while touring. The product comes with universal use base and supports a maximum of four people communicating while riding. The product's clip is of cheap quality and there are issues with wind noise when using an open-faced helmet. The device is also reported to have a delay in communication, which can make carrying on a conversation difficult. Support from the company is a problem when trying to get an issue resolved. The product is held on by a plastic clamp on the top of the main unit, which can become brittle and break. This leads to an issue where the unit can come off when riding. There is a suggestion to add another layer of protection to the product.
