Davis Instruments Electronic Indicators Editorial Review
The Davis Instruments Rudder Position Indicator is a small device that can be mounted to a boat's steering wheel to show the position of the rudder. While some reviewers find it helpful, others have reported issues with calibration and say that it doesn't work well with hydraulic steering. The device can lose calibration easily if the steering wheel is turned too quickly or if the boat experiences waves or similar movement. However, some happy reviewers find it to be a useful tool for docking and manoeuvring their boat.
