- Classic Since 1970: Per Lütken launched the No. 5 in 1970 and in over 50 years the shot glass has not been redesigned, because the tall, clean cylinder on a solid base arrived as a complete idea. It carries the Holmegaard swan mark on the base, the identifier for mouth-blown glass made by hand.
- Tall for a Shot: At 3.7 inches tall and 1.8 inches wide with a 1.7 oz (5cl) capacity, the No. 5 shot glass stands notably taller than a standard shot glass, giving it a presence on the table that the usual squat form does not. The narrow cylinder keeps the pour controlled and the contents cold.
- One at a Time: Each glass is mouth-blown individually, with the glassblower shaping the form by hand and breath, and carries the Holmegaard swan mark on the base. Dishwasher safe on a low temperature cycle, which keeps the fine walls and clarity of mouth-blown glass in the best condition over time.
