It is possible to get a 60 ft tower with additional guy wires, and the Rohn 25G can be installed at extreme heights with guying or bracketing. The tower is not rated for applications such as air x windmill or wind turbines. The 25GSS040 includes a base section to embed in concrete, while the basic kit does not have one. The majority of customer reviews are positive, stating that the tower is sturdy and easy to install. However, one customer had difficulty with bolts not fitting correctly and had to ream them out. Another customer's tower was blown down in Hurricane Ida even with support and guy wires, indicating that the tower may not be suitable for extreme weather conditions.
