The Celestron Omni 56mm Eyepiece is a great 2" low cost eyepiece that is excellent for observing large objects such as star clusters. The eyepiece can be used with various telescopes, including the NexStar 8SE, and can accept most 2” filters. Some customers had issues with the quality control of the product, receiving units with loose lenses and scratched coatings. However, other customers found the eyepiece to have excellent workmanship and design with clear and bright optics. Overall, the Celestron Omni 56mm Eyepiece is a great low-budget option for astronomy enthusiasts.
