It is a bit expensive compared to other membranes, but it's made in the USA and from DOW TFC membrane film, making it more dependable and resilient. The membrane is built for standard RO membrane housings, so it's compatible with most RO and RO/DI Systems. The rejection rate is 98.6%, which is significant economically if you're following the membrane with a DI resin. The matching flow restrictor is the green piece provided with the membrane, which needs to be installed inside the waste water line connecting to the RO Membrane Housing. The unique membrane housing in the membrane makes it usable with different gallons Per Day (GPD) RO systems, i.e., 50, 75, or 100 GPD. Customer Feedback: - One customer made a mistake of purchasing a knock-off membrane and had to troubleshoot the system until they realized the problem was with the membrane. Upon replacing it with the AquaFX 100 GPD, the customer was pleased with the result and warned against purchasing non-AquaFX products. - Another customer affirmed the superiority of the AquaFX membrane compared to other brands, stating that it produces better water and has less waste, making it more cost-effective in the long run. - A third customer warns against falling for the less expensive options that promise the same quality as the AquaFX.
