Use it year-round to weed, feed, seed, and even apply ice melt! The hopper of this hand-held spreader holds enough Scotts® products to cover up to 1,500 sq. ft. of space. There is an attached dial that easily allows the user to adjust the spreader settings to match the needs of the products being applied. Once the dial is set and the product is added, begin walking, pull the trigger, and turn the crank clockwise while walking at a steady pace. The Scotts® Whirl™ Hand-Powered Spreader comes fully assembled, so you can begin treating your lawn immediately, right out of the box.
