With its quick-release handle and heavy-duty material, it is targeted more at rescuers than standard paddlers. It has a lot of attachment points for gear, including a whistle, strobe, SMS/GPS device, and a knife, capturing the essence of an ideal rescue PFD. It has a lot of pockets, left and right, and a capacious zippered clamshell pocket at the chest, providing ample storage space. The jacket hugs the torso nicely and provides enough flotation support to carry another person, making it perfect for kayaking with children. The only downside is that it can be a bit difficult to put on.
