Can this be fixed/screwed to a tree stump?
atbildi: Yes, you could screw it to a fence or tree stump but it doesn't have holes, you would have to drill through it. -

atbildi: You can varnish it. I bought one for my sister and she painted hers blue to match her garden planters and everything :) -

Do you know the approximate weight of the item? I want to hang it from a smallish branch of a tree.
atbildi: Not sure as I gave this as a birthday present to my sister last year. The branch of the tree needs to be able to take weight plus bird seed. -

atbildi: No, it does not come with bird food. Just sprinkle the sort of food the birds like and they will quite happily eat and swing till their little hearts desire. -

Is this big enough for a wood pigeon to sit on and eat from it at a time?
atbildi: In my experience, pigeons don't seem to be able to land on it properly. It's best suited to small birds like Wrens, Starlings, and Robins, etc. -

atbildi: I suppose you could use it for them, but it is wood and rope, so they might chew at it. It would need to be in a large cage as it is quite big. -
